Getting a list of prospective buyers is essential for success in any business, but the story does not end here.

You should be able to reach to these prospects through an enthusiastic sales team or through some advertising media to create awareness of the products and services offered by you and show how good or economical they are in comparison to the other companies in the marketplace offering the same or similar products.

Many a times we observe that the deal or contract is not closed even when the buyer is in dire need of the product/service and the rates are also right, the product also meets all the expectations of the buyer. The reason may be that the seller has failed to create proper rapport with the buyer; he has failed to sell himself and tried to sell only the product.

Advertisement is an integral part of any marketing campaign. A satisfied customer talking about the product to the people known to him can work as a brand ambassador of a company. People will believe in his words more than that of a paid celebrity.

Network Marketing offers a solution to all these. Here a team of enthusiastic marketers joins hand to expand the size of their team by personal contacts. They approach everyone they know friends, relatives, associates etc. and offer distributorship for the company they work for.

The profit is shared between the team members in proportion of the size of network created by each one. The network marketer sells himself first rather than the product or the service and the result is obvious. Word of mouth publicity spreads like forest fire and reaches the mass and this is the basis of any network marketing model.

Another advantage of network marketing is that you need not keep a team of sales persons and pay salaries, then in order to achieve the targets you will have to provide motivation in terms of some incentives and finally fire those who fall short in terms of performance. In case of network marketing, the situation is different. You need not pay any salary; the team is always highly motivated since their earnings are directly in proportions to the results they achieve. Non-performing individuals are screened out automatically.
